3 OGRC SPEAKS OUT
continued from page 2
(1) The Court presumes that what is "offensive" to one person is "offensive" to everyone, even though the legis lature has not been able to legally define the term "offensive".
(2) The Court assumes that all same-sex solicitation necessarily provokes violence, even though in this case there was no violence involved on the part of either person involved.
(3) The Court assumes that all same-sex solicitation is offensive to everyone.

(4) The Court presumes that such solicitation is likely cause serious emotional injury to those who are solicited, even though no medical or legal evidence was presented to substantiate that claim.
(5) The Court ignores that fact that the law is discriminatory, since offensive 'opposite sex solicitation is 'not' a crime, no matter how offensive or emotionally trumatic to the victim.
(6) The Court seems to be condoning violence by making the persons committing the violence in response to an exercise of free speech the victims.
(7) Even though the activity solicited is not a crime under Ohio law, if engaged in privately by consenting adults, the Court makes it very difficult for individuals to comply with the law and communicate to assure mutual consent, because, however tactful, the solicitation might be construed to be offensive.
(8) We are in agreement with Justice Sweeney's dissent which states that the court exceeded its authority in interpreting the law in this case and that this law is an uncon stitutional infringement of the freedom of speech.
We will lend our support if this case is appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, as it should be, and in their next bid for re-election, we shall actively oppose Chief Justice Frank Celebrezze and Associate Justices Thomas Herbert, William B. Brown, Paul Brown, Robert Holmes, and Ralph Locher.

The 1st Prize Winner, and the new "Miss Ohio Female Impersonator 1979" was Miss Jane Winters of Canton, Miss Winters wore white in the gown competition, and a red body suit, with flowing outer illusion for the talent portion. When asked if she would dress as a woman in a 'straight' establishment, she replied that female impersonation is for entertainment purposes, directed to, and appreciated more by, the gay community; so whe would limit it to that. Although less than a year as an entertainer, Miss Winters showed charm and charisma. Melissa Ross, "Miss Ohio Female Impersonator 1978" surrendered her crown after entertaining the audience with her outstanding talent, beauty and professional style, and with a grace and elegance that left nothing to be desired. Miss Ross is destined for success and the 'big time! Although no longer living in the state, she still views CLEVELAND her home town, and Ohio. with fond memories and nostalgia. She has appeared in New York, New Orleans, and many other Ohio cities. continued on page 5
