JOEY A continuing story of a boy who lived in Stark County who grew up as a homosexual. The story was taken from a real diary. CHAPTER TWO Time: 1960 Joey is discovered as a queer!

AS THE weeks went by, Larry managed to tell many of his buddies about Joey being a queer. Joey was already beginning to feel the straight disapproval of being queer. Each day, as Joey changed from class to class, boys and pris alike called him names. By this time Joey just tried to ignore being called fruit, fazeot. Queer and weirdo.

One afternoon as Joey entered socialogy class, a fellow classmate hollared out. Here comes the crotch cannibal! The class broke into a roar while Joey said nothing, but thoughts running through his mind was to haul off and hit the kid in the mouth. Joey took his seat anyway saving nothing. A big burly kid, named Kim, came over to Joey's desk and sat down on Joey's lap putting his arm around Joey calling him sweety and wanting Joey to go on a date with him, All the while, the boys and girls in the class watched and laughed at the harassment Joey was receiving Just then, the teacher walked into the classroom. The teacher told the class to quiet down and to open their books. The teacher was less than interested in Joey's embarrasing

As the months went by, Joey was subjected to continual verbal abuse. He began going into depressions that lasted for weeks Joey's parents noticed his moods, but thought it was just a part of being a teenager in the awkward age. Joey never mentioned anything about his plight to his parents or anyone else. Many times, Joey would go into a complete dream world often dreaming about meeting a guy who was like himself. He even thought about some man kidnapping him and taking him away to make love to him, but it just never happened. Joey often thought, If only I could have a boy friend like the girls do, but then he would realize that this just wouldn't happen. Joey often tried to stop his sexual encounters but, his poor will power and forcefullness by his tricks made that nigh to impossible.

One day, Joey's parents were out of town, so Joey decided to skip school that day avoiding the abuse. He had really been in a depressed mood and it was weighing heavily on his mind that he was the only queer in the world. At that time back in 1960, the word gay was almost unheard of When Joey did return to school, the attendance officier, Mr. Duca, called Joey into his office for a talk. When Joey entered the man's office, he noticed a blond senior girl typing Mr. Duca didn't ask the girl to leave, but instead, began telling Joey that he acted like a girl and that a lot of rumors were floating about school concerning Joey's reputation. He said that if Joey didn't change his ways that he would be expelled from school. Joey blushed at all of this while the girl typist smirked and giggled silently.

Not long after that during a lunch recess, Joey was walking down the hall when the class president stopped him, Hey Joey, Fred said, I really need some head bad, so why don't we to behind the stage in the auditorium, Fred was near six foot tall with dark eyes and hair not to mention his handsomeness. Joey thought for a few minutes trying to say no, but alas he gave into Fred's desires. After that, Joey met Fred behind the stage almost every day taking his place on his knees satisfying Fred's lust. Fred was always kind to Joey, but Joey felt that he was only kind because he wanted his action insured. At last the school term ended, but of Fred began calling him at home wanting Joey to come to his house for fun. Joey abided by Fred's wishes and rode his bike to Fred's several times a week.

To and Fred got to be quite good friends besides their intimate relationship. Fred even told fory that Scott had gone behind the stage with Fred several times. Much of Joey's summer was spent at the beach during the day, so loey asked Scott about what Fred had told him. Scott acknowledged the fact, but said he wouldn't do that again. As Joey's summer went on, a steady occurence of sex acts took place at the beach in the locker room.
