OPEN LETTER TO THE GAY COMMUNITY.
MASS CONFUSION!?! I decided as our first issue of this sheet went to press that it would soon be necessary to try to clear up the mass confusion that I've created. A good way to start is with how Gay Liberation came about in Columbus.

A group of friends began discussing the need for Gay, Lib here in Jan. By Feb. we were holding "regular" meetings.. Friday evenings were spent rapping with each other to raise our consciousness. This was mainly achieved by discussing our backgrounds, life stories, experiences, etc. and comparing.. We began to see that we were the same in only one ares -71. we liked members of the same sex that was the only area.” We were each a unique individual with many interest and non-interests and these often conflicted. All of a sudden we realized that we gays are not all one type with one interest. We make up at the full spectrum of personality, backgrounds, classes, colors, creeds, clothing and hair styles and every other stereotype. we think about. Some of us were "masculine" some "feminine" some: neuter. We began to realize that our lifestyle had been drastically altered by a sick society. We had been told that gay men are "women" trapped in "male" bodies and gay women are "men trapped in "female bodies. BULL SHIT! Don't fall for society's misconceptions of homo sexuality. You're men gay men and women gay women. Aman can love a man fully and a woman can love a woman fully. Our society has a misconception when it comes to love. They think "full" love can be only for the opposite sex. Again BULL SHIT! You can love the opposite sex fully, the same sex fully or both sexes fully. That's up

We also began to hold sensitivity sessions to break down what society has told us all straight or gay about touching each other. Our sick society, the United States of America371 has de-humanized us all and de-sensitized us all. It will take a long time to get back to humanism but the movement it here. GET BACK TO PEOPLE!
In March our small group applied for and received campus recognition. The official name is Gay Liberation Front of Columbus. Actions on campus include getting a mail box in the Ohio Union (1739 N. High St,, Mail Box #3, Cols., Ohio 43210);" April and May were months of decline and general falling apart. Many members feel that they are now "liberated" and the world is once again a beautiful place to live. (Yes Martheydthe world is a beautiful place to live.) Some members, however E decided that they were not "liberated" and the world is once inagain a terrible place to live. (Yes Martha, the world awa terrible place to live.)
Does Anyone change? Does Anything change?

Upon accepting the check at a faculty meeting, he told them that the money would be donated to us and the faculty showed its approval through a loud round of applause. RIGHT ON!
