In general the discussion of the task groups and their future goals beyond these discussions was deferrred until after elections of the Board members. There is a general consensus that the Board will facilitate the activities of the task groups in at least two ways. is hoped that some of the necessary bureaucratic-organizational matters can soon be dealt with by the Board freeing OGRC meeting time for task group meetings and that the Doard will also serve to coordinate projects of the task groups to provide more continuity and effectiveness. We shall soon see.
Numerous announcements of local events were made and Marilyn announced that she had been contacted about a possible national gay rights demonstration to be held next spring in Washington, DC. Details of that event will be announced as they are received. The planning is in the preliminary stages at present with a steering committee meeting scheduled in November after the results of the Briggs Initiative : California.

Please note that absentee ballots will be available upon written request to the OGRC post office box 8393, Columbus, Ohio 43201 if RECEIVED BY OCTOBER 25,1978. Requested absentee ballots will be mailed by Nov. 1st and must be received by Friday, November 10.1978 at the OGRC post office box. All OGRC members will receive a notice
by mail early in Nov (prior to the meeting) listing the nominees and their biographical profile as well as the specific room for the OGRC meetings at Bowling Green and a map (hoepfully).
An agenda for the meeting with MOHR on Nov 11th was discussed. It was decided that since OGRC will not yet have a Board that the meeting will be a general get acquainted and share goals, projects, problems and discuss potential cooperation. Everyone is invited. Bowling Green will probably plan a social for that evening.
