Various possibilities for Gay Pride Week activities were brought up. Rick Lang will explore further the possibility of a March on the State capitol.

Some Presidential candidates have released their positions on the issue of gay rights. These will follow later in the newsletter. Proposed changes in the By-Laws of OGRC were discussed. Many of the changes are simply for clarification, although at least one is substantive. These changes will be presented to the membership for a vote.

The next meeting of the Board will be on Sept. 28 at noon in Art Kaltenborn's home in Kent. The primary items on the agenda will be the January Activists Workshop and the November elections to the Board. Only one of the amendments appears to be substantiver it would delete the new requirement that members of the Board be open about their sexual orientation.
