AN OPEN LETTER:

Dear Anita,

For years you have been rather occupied with other persons' personal lives. Please forgive me if I now kibitz your own just a bit.

Specifically about your divorce: definitely no way. See Matthew 19:6. Mark 10:12, and Corinthians 7:10-11 and 27.

of course a person may divorce if adultery raven (Matthew 5:32) but your so-called justification i that your husband has been trying to control your ministry.

First, let us deal with your

ministry.

"Let your women keep silence in the churches; for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, even as the law says. If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home..." I Corinthians 14:34-35).

In reference to this. I personally have seen you several times speaking on Jerry Falwell's church program and I think he probably should be shut up too.

Now let us deal with the question of your husband attempting to "control" you.

To begin with, where do you get off even criticizing your husband publicly? "So must their wives be grave, not slanderous, soker, faithful in all things. (I Timothy 3:11). Secondly if he wants to control "Be in subjection to you so be it! your own husbands..." (I Peter 3:11) Page 4

WHAT'S NEW IN Your Town?

OGRC is revising its organization. media, and business lists. The organization and business lists will be available for Lesbians and Gays at the Fair Booth again this year. The media list will help us with announcements and publicity.

Any information that you may have about new bars, old groups, radio stations, or campus organizations is very helpful. Please send complete names, addresses, and (if possible) phone numbers.

Send the information to Jay c/o OGRC, P. 0. Box 8393, Columbus, 43201

Also see I Corinthians 11:3 and 11:9, Colossians 3:18 and Ephesians 5:24. Properly, you should strive for what might be called a slave/master relationship. Personally I consider it slightly kinky but if you are into that I mean literal interpretation of an infallible scripture) then beautiful for you; whatever turns you on.

Of course, if you divorce that is you own personal abomination, but I do not think you should be permitted to flaunt your sin in public. I should hope that you would be prohibited from teaching Sunday School or singing with the West Point Glee Clublest you recruit young minds into your doomed lifestyle.

Finally permit me to say I would like to see you and your husband remain together. I cannot think of two other persons who so much deserve each other.

Dave
