BY-LAW AMENDMENTS

TO BE DISCUSSED AUGUST 17

The following changes in the ByLaws of OGRC will be presented for discussion at a meeting to be held on August 17, 1980 at a place announced elsewhere in this issue:

A. The Executive Board. The Executive Board is the governing body of the Organization. Change to read: The Executive Board shall be the contingent administrative body of the Organization.

In parentheses following "two Recorders" change to read: fone male, one female).

3. B. All officers shall be members ..." change to read: All Executive Board Members... Delete phrase: "shall be open as to their sexual orientation" In last phrase change the word officers to Executive Board Members.

OGRC MEETS AUGUST 17

The August meeting of OGRC will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, August 17, 1980 to discuss the amendments to the By-Laws as printed elsewhere in the NEWSLETTER. The meeting will be held at the Open Door Clinic on Summit St. (See map on page 7)

All members are urged to attend and participate in the discussion. Voting on the amendments will be by mail ballot.

Other business to come before the meeting will be the State Fair Booth, the Workshop in Cincinnati, and the plans for the workshop in Athens. We should also have a report on the legal rights pamphlet.

UCC GIVES FINANCIAL AID

For the Second Year the United Church of Christ, Ohio Conference, has given OGRC a monitary grant. The funds will be used for Education and growth.
