BENT

April 1983

OSU Gay Alliance has arranged Players Theatre of Columbus to buy the entire house for the Tuesday, May 24 performance of the critically acclaimed Martin Sherman play, BENT. This event will be a fitting finale to the GALA week festivities.

The play deals with the satalia persecution of homosexuals in Nazi Germany, Set in 1934, the play moves from a flat in Berlin to the concentration camps of the Holocost. The shocking and explosive action of the play reveals a little discussed horror of European history. The pink triangle identified the homosexual prisoners; many Gay people today wear the same symbol as a reminder of our heritage.

We encourage our members and friend to join us for this very special evening. There will be a reception at 7:30, curtain time is 8:00. Ticket price is $7., please contact the office to obtain them. Don't delay, as there are only 154 seats and they are going fast.

This is a benefit for OSUGA, so show your support by attending this event.
