GAY MEN'S COFFEEHOUSE
April 9 will be the date of the third Gay lens Coffeehouse. This popular alternative to the bars will start about 11:00 Saturday noght and run through 4:00 Sunday morning. in addition to the dancing, beer and socializing, this event will have an added attraction: a porn exchange. Bring any magazines that you are tired of and find exciting new ones from other men's collections. The exchange will begin at 2:00AM.
Hope to see you there! The location is 230 West Fifth Avenue, at the corner of Neil. Show courtesy when parking, and enter by the back door. A $2.00 contribution will cover beer, munchies and other beverages.

POT GIVEN TO OFFICE
Maxwell House recently sent a new pot (automatic coffeemaker, to be specific) to our office, as part of a publicity campaign. The pot works admirably for either coffee or tea, and the gift is much appreciated.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PARLEY WITH U.S.G. PRES
Larry G. and Bryan K, met recently with Undergraduate Student Government president Colleen O'Brien. They discussed a possible amendment fo the OSU Operations Code Affirmative Action Policy to add "sexual orientation" as a protected class.
Also discussed was the possibility of obtaining in the neighborhood of $100. for GALA Week expenses. O'Brien expressed positive interest in both issues and will meet with the USG Representative to the University Senate Rules Committee.

Plans for GALA Week were discussed, such as the awards dinner, special parties and possible photo contest and music recital.
Members were urged to write to Governor Celeste asking for an executive order barning discrimination; and to show support and appreciation to Trends/Garage for their past support of Gay Alliance. 8 March
Passed motions to endorse the 1983 Chic Gay Pride march set for June 26, and to loan $100. for keq deposit to the Gay Mens Coffeehouse Guild. It will be retai after the April 9 coffeehouse, along with a contribution of preceeds of the event. 29 March #
The Cookbook Committee reports that the cookbook, titled "Out in the Kitchen", will soon be printed. Selling price will be $3. or $4. Passed an additional allocation to cover printing costs.
It was announced that the University has allocated $440, for GALA Week, a record amount. Plans for GALA Week and the Coffeehouse were discussed.
Aledicist $590.problems in the area of program meetings for the quarter, as none have been announced by the program chair Council will resolve the matter.

If you wish to use the machine for papers or other personal projacts, you may do so by paying $5. per quarter to Larry G., the treasurer. This will help to defray the $15 per month rent which we pay.
