sponsor monthly coffeehouses. These "parties" will be great for men still in the closet or those who are too young for the bars. The first coffeehouse will be held Sat.Dec. 1 from 11pm-4am. Dancing, cards, conversation, drinks, and possibly movies will be provided for a 31 donation which will be used to defray costs. The coffeehouse will be held at 299 W. 5th Avenue. We are trying to determine just what went on at the Student Services tearoom on Friday Oct 22. Some of our members were in the building when they noticed uniformed officers going into the basement. Une student came out crying. We do know that no citations were given, but beyond that nothing is known. If you know anything about this mystery, please call Brian at 422-9212.

Possible themes, events, and activities should le nuggested to Brian, who will coordinate again this year, if you are interested in being on the committee or might like to be coordinator next year, Brian is very willing to train people in organizing this event.

MARCH ON WASI:INGTON

Steve Andrews, coordinator of the 1983 march on Washington visited Columbus during the midwest Lesbian/Cay Communicat lictwork Conference. He presented info ab the April 23rd date and accompanying conf ence, we will more than likely be getting up a community planning committee for thi so anyone interested in planning should watch for details.

OFFICERS/ELECTIONS/APPOINTMENTS

The Special election was held on Nov 2 to fill the vacant council seat. Bob Howle was declared the winner when the only opponent was realized to be ineligible due to non-student status.

Mark Jones is now the Program Direct Mark Poling is Office Manager; Carmen is Speakers Bureau Direotor; and Brian is PR chair. Pete is in charge of the cookbook and Brian is coordinating GA Week.

The semi-annual general election wil be held Tues Nov 30. Nominations will be accepted Tues Nov 16 and 23.

OCTOBER FUND AND MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

While not all the bills are paid nor even received yet, we do know that we reached our $1000 mark. The Garage Okto fest netted $800 alone. Lewis and Larry

both worked especially hard at these ev and special thanks should be given them. A full financial report will follow in : December issue-stay tuned till then!
