Your first issue of The Purple Cow contains a response prepared by Sue and Diane to an article. 10 authored and which appeared in the May, 1974 Tide, having been originally submitted in October, 1973. Perhaps now we can say that enough is enough. That article was never intended to disparage any group or individual; rather, it was a personal expression of lonli-

ness.

I, too, would like to see and be a part of a growing, won strong, and supportive lesbian/. womans community in Columbus. would hope that the newsletter could further that goal and that women who read my Tide article recognized the feelings it reflected. We who live in Columbus can make it a place which welcomes women and can offer our friendship to them.
