Many of you saw or purchased a copy of The New Woman's Survival Catalogue. The editor, Kirsten Grimsted, and friends just completed a national tour to collect new info for the next edition to be published in January or February. Next time you go to NYC, you might want to visit a woman's resturant there called Mother Courage: It is located at 342 West 11th, a bit of a walk from the Village using the Eighth Avenue Line, but worth it.

You'll find an informal atmosphere where the women who are they to serve you are feminist and friendly; some thing of a rarity in that city. Local women's art is displayed. Prices range from $2.50 to $5.00 for a complete meal and spirits are available. The food was plentiful and delicious, the atmosphere fine, and the dining out enjoyable for a change.

GAY WOMEN SAPPHONCIFIED
In May, 1973, a
group of women in Columbus got togeth er because of events occurring during Gay Pride Week and started GWS. The group has sponcered a variety of social events, offerred a place for gay women to meet each other and rap, and served as a pool of energy for small groups to work on single concerns. For a variety of reasons, the group disbanded early in 1974 after decreasing attendence all Spring. This action left Columbus gay women without a regular time to meet and work on the needs of the community. community. Recently, several women have expressed interest in revising and reorganizing GWS to meet more current needs. The meetings are on Tuesdays (see up-coming events) and GWS needs your support.
