do support one another, they cannot. hurt or divide us with words. If another gay woman (Dyke) calls me a Dyke, we both understand, and identify, and share the experience. If I call you a Dyke, I am complimenting you as a person of courage and pride in choosing your identity and lifestyle. If you misunderstand or take offense, maybe you don't really accept and appreciate yourself as much as I am prepared to accept and appreciate you, and I am saddened to think that all the conventional heterosexual cheerleading that goes on in our world has got you doubting yourself.
I am not a Dyke because I play football. I am a Dyke because I have chosen my lifestyle where I I was given no choice and because I choose to express a feeling of mutual support with all other gay women. ! (Dykes). In Amerika they call us Dykes... In Lesbian Nation we call ourselves Dykes.

POETRY
"You"
You are the one who makes my sunshine
You turn my gray sky to blues You cheer my broken heart
But of all, you are just around when
I need you.
"Love"
I want to hold you and love you. without clutching appreciate you without judging, join you without invading invite you without demanding leave you without guilt criticize you without blaming and help you without insulting.
If I can have the same from you then we can truely meet and enrich each other. And care for each other. Where in the world could I find

THE ISSUE
We each have our own views or opinions on issues of concern to the gay community. These opinions frequently vary and, when shared, this variance of thought gives us a chance to expand our thinking. An exchange of ideas also helps us get to know the gay community better and hear opinions which could determine our direction in the future.
THE ISSUE is a new addition to the PC which we hope will provide a forum for that exchange of ideas. We welcome your thoughts on the issue and your suggestions for issues in the future.
The issue for January is conferences. What do you think about them, should we get together in 75, and what do you think we need to talk ! over?
In sending your ideas, sign your name as it should appear in the newsletter. We will print as many individual's ideas as we can afford, but we will attempt to show the variance of opinions received.
